Frank Nobilo, an analyst for the Golf Channel's PGA Tour coverage, offers advice on successfully hitting the ball high and landing soft from a 30-yard distance.
The first thing to do, according to Nobilo, is open the clubface, which means angling it towards the right. However, it is important to strike a counter-balance by aiming your body to the left the same amount that you tilt your clubface to the right.
The second step in making such a shot is to keep the left hand facing upwards throughout the swing. These two easy steps will make pitch shots much easier.
