This video golf lesson features tips on how to get greater distance on your drives and a more penetrating ball flight.
The most important thing to remember in order to hit longer drives is to keep the club low on the takeaway and up through the shot. Doing this will reduce backspin on the ball.
Keep the ball a bit forward in your stance, and during the swing, pivot the right leg while keeping it low. That will cause a resistance in the left leg as you turn, which encourages a natural hinge in the swing. The arms should not extend past the body during the swing, pivoting the body and keeping the shot wide will give much more power for longer drives.

This lesson was sooo helpful. My drives were really bad!! I went out today and did just what you said about taking it back low and then coming up on the downswing. Man..... I nailed them long and straight. Can't wait to go play tomorrow and do it all over again.
That was a Great tip/ video.
Thank you so much for the Help.
