A particularly troublesome area for many golfers is downhill lies. In this video golf lesson, Frank Nobilo has a few tips that will give you better results when dealing with them.
A shot from a downhill lie requires some changes in the normal address position. The ball needs to be further back in the stance than usual, and the weight needs to be kept on the leg that is further down on the slope so that the club will more easily follow the shape of the slope.
Since the ball will come out lower, it is important to use a different club. These small changes will give you much greater success in handling downhill lies.
