Nike Golf first introduced its proprietary Super Flex Core technology
with the Power Distance Super Soft in November 2002. The result
has been a wildly popular, low-compression distance ball.
The first application of the Super Flex Core technology from lead
engineer Rock Ishii was so successful and so well received that
Nike Golf has redesigned the entire Power Distance line incorporating
the new core in each of three balls - the Super Far, the Super Fly,
and the Super Soft - to create the Power Distance Super Series.
